Review summary

After traveling on another cruise line it was hard not to compare the two. The Norweigan just didn't add up to the quality of food and service and cleanliness that we have enjoyed on another line. But we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, especially the magician Cripton and the Masquerade Duo in the lounge area.

Our cabin boy Renee from the Philippines was excellent. Took great care of us and our cabin. The wait staff in the dining facilities left a lot to be desired, it really felt like they were all trainees. You had to continually ask for your tea/water/coffee to be refilled. You never knew what kind of service you would get. The Grand Pacific had the best wait staff.

The ship was very hard to navigate, you could not get there from here. The cleanliness of the public bathrooms was terrible, it was like any public bathroom in any public building. Also the maintenance in the bathrooms was not so good, loose faucets, etc.

The cabin was very nice, a little cozy but served it's purpose and seemed to be very sound-proofed.
