worst cruise ever!

Service was the worst. It took 3.5 hours to get through dinner. After complaining we made it through dinner in 2.5 hours, not much better. Very rude and unhelpful staff. The food in the main dinning room was pretty good, although the buffet I could do without.  The Jasmine the  food is very bland and it took 3 hours.  Never had such bad service on a cruise before!  Every order was messed up. How difficult is it to bring an order of wings and not mess it up?? The cabin was fine. The guy that cleaned ours did the basic job, so I won't complain about that but certainly nothing special. Public restrooms were dirty and didn't have TP. The pools were packed. 15 kids (all under the age of 10) in a hottub that was designated as adults only! This was my 3rd time on the Jade and nothing like the other two times. It appeared to be a new staff that was all still in training.

Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin was fine.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Chaos in the terminal trying to get on. Getting off was worse. Our bags were in the 8.30 group. We tried to get off at 9.00 but got stuck in the gangway for 1/2 hour for some unknown reason. Then once were in the terminal we were still held for another 1/2 hour.

Not sure now after the fact why a cruise would go to Belize or Honduras...nothing there...
Onboard Activities
the worst ever... the cruise director was bad. horrible sense of humor, the guy that ran the trivia and some of the special game shows is clueless.
Children's Programs
Although my youngest is a teen he went once only to be greeted by such a rude staff member he never went back.
Entertainment
The comedian was good as were the acrobats, but that was about it.
Service and Staff
For the most part very rude staff. We did have a good waiter in the Blue Lagoon our last night at midnight.
Food and Dining
Every meal our order was messed up. Items forgotten or cooked wrong etc.

Tip

Check your bill. We had to go back to the service desk 4 times to get our bill straight. We had the ultimate drink package, yet got charged for every single drink. Coffee and water are also not included on the drink package. Can grasp how I can order a $15.00 glass of whiskey, but I can't water.
