blood all over our sheets

Well i was not planning on writing a book , but here I go . Our room that we originally had booked , we did not receive. The ship tried putting 4 people in an interior room with 2 twin beds on the floor and one bunk bed .  The ship told us they were completely full and that once the ship left the port they would let us know if a room was open to a no show. Once 8pm came with still no notice on if we received a bigger room or if they would give us a 2nd room to Accomodate us we went to dinner. Once out of dinner around 9:45 we went to the guest services where they charged us $200 to get a additional room. By the time we got to our new room with all our bags it was around 10:30 pm and we were tired . Literally put our bags on the floor and hopped into bed, lights off. In the morning we woke up to a bloody massacre where our feet were under the comforter. I took off the 1st layer of sheets to notice blood all over the 2nd layer. It was absolutely disgusting !  The ship never apologized for the sheets to be in that way , not even the housekeeping. As for compensation our package we booked we paid extra for certain perks like excursions discounts and an upgraded room, that we did not receive and we paid for . I cruise about 6 times per year and this was the worst ship expirence .

Compensate?? For WHAT??? They did what they had to do, changed the sheets and comforter!! If you had really pushed for it, they would have changed the mattress too. How could you not notice ALL THE BLOOD under the comforter when you went to bed the night before? Why do you think you should be compensated for this? Just seems to me the cabin steward wasn't paying attention to detail because if he/she was, he would have changed the sheets prior to you boarding and you would have been none the wiser..
