Review summary

We really enjoyed the cruise and our Penthouse stateroom but the destination of Greece is probably not at its best at the current economic climate. Difficult to obtain euros when you are at port and everything was a bit tired. People were lovely but a little on the desperate side, understandably, for your patronage.

Cabin was fantastic. Minibar was locked the first day and took ages for someone to come unlock. Coffee machine needed descaling from the first day and never got fixed which meant the coffee did not taste very nice which was disappointing. Not thrilled with some of the extra "perks" you were suppose to get. The treats in late afternoon were often canapés with meat and we specifically told our butler that we didn't eat meat on the first day. We reminded him 3 times and when he said he'd get us something else, it didn't happen.

Ship tip

Breakfast at the private restaurant for Penthouse and Haven cabins was really nice to have at breakfast and lunches. The only downside was that the menu never changed for the entire 7 days.

hi. ill be going on the cruise next week with my husband and daughter whose 2 1/2. Is it safe to visit the islands? also i heard on the news that the shops were going to close. is that true? thanks
