Norwegian Jade Cruise Review to Europe - Mediterranean
Sail Date: October 08, 2011
Ship: Norwegian Jade
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 6 years ago
Review SummaryThe ship was fine, other than some of the public rooms were over the top w/Hawaiian decorations. It is very casual, which I wasn't really used to from previous experience...no need to dress up ever, if you don't wish to. Too bad it wasn't a "wow" experience, as one of our group was on his first cruise.

Ports of Call
Don't Miss: Pizza in Naples at "Antica Pizzeria da Michele" Worth the 45 min wait...best ever!!!
Don't Miss: Greek Theater.
Don't Miss: Walk the wall! Do it right away to avoid the crowds.
Don't Miss: Climb the clock tower! Stroll the promenade. Visit the green market.
Pros: The ports were great, which is really my main focus.
Cons: The ship was originally meant for Hawaii, so decorated as such. Pretty tacky in many areas. At least "art" was of a vintage look. Wish it would have been decorated with scenes of Italy.
