Review summary
Nice ship. Larger balcony room was spacious enough for the four of us, including 2 teenage daughters. Very disappointing food service. The main dining room is nice but food and service is substandard (compared to other lines or restaurants). They offer many "specialty" restaurants which we found the service to be very good, but food quality is still lacking. No midnight buffets like other lines. I must say the best food was at the buffet dining room - though it was always a mad house. Overall service level is also substandard. The room steward seemed to care but really to write home about. The rest of the staff, from bars to cruise information was sometimes downright rude. Port itineraries are pretty much useless... They point out a little history but not much information if you want to do things on your own - who wants to shell out $400 - $600 at everyport for the tours??? Overall, disappointing but we enjoyed the room and the itineary.Ship experiences
