Be sure to ask question about itinerary as our itinerary changed last minute due to a hurricane. Our planned port was changed a second time without our knowledge, thankful we did not book excursions outside of the cruise line since we went to a port that was not planned and no passengers were made aware of the change until we arrived. Our itinerary paperwork was even wrong for that whole day.

The GETAWAY cruise ship from Cape Canaveral, entertainment, food, and prices were ALLLL GARBAGE!! Captain always spoke on the microphone like he was chewing food... you could NEVER understand what he was saying. Most of the staff was nice and the lady at the buffet, washy, washy, happy, happy!!! She was very nice!!! Buffet Food that was supposed to be hot at the buffet was warm or cold. The pizza was good. Comedians were TERRIBLE... fire them both. Ugh. Anyone can do their show. Seriously, my 19yr old son is funnier. We couldn't access the front of the ship... and the back seemed to close at 7 pm. Even though it said 18+, people were allowed to bring their kids of all ages. Internet....wow.. internet was garbage and a scam. You should be ashamed of the internet service, price, package, and speed. We paid for wifi package and you ONLY gave us 150 minutes.. or pay extra, extra was $180 unlimited of slow internet and no streaming, or when my wife declined, you offered her 100 more minutes for $75 ....... such garbage. Lastly your "priority " service we paid extra for, only worked at Great Stirrup Cay only.....we didn't even get priority to disembark..... we deserve refunds on most of this cruise....I am surprised we didn't get food poisoning!!! We will NEVER EVER GO ON NORWEGIAN AGAIN!!! The locations were nice, except GREAT STIRRUP... that island of yours is a scam. !!! AND AT EACH PORT, YOU HAD YOUR SCAM WORKERS RIGHT AT THE BOAT CHARGING PREMIUM PRICES FOR ....WELL ANYTHING... FOOD, TRIPS, SOUVENIRS, ETC. Glad we knew better. We KNEW we were still on NORWEGIAN property... once we stepped off, prices went down by 75%!!! Oh, and that towel animal the cabin steward made, we HAD TO ASK for, because other rooms got them and my wife and I didn't...so we inquired, and they started to appear. 3 total on an 8 day cruise. Shame on your NORWEGIAN..we thought you were better than Carnival or Disney. You are like the Walmart of cruises in our opinion now!!!! I am an actor and have ACTUALLY SEEN a casting call for a couple to go on a Cruise with Norwegian for 8 or 10 days (don't remember that part) .... you are paying them EACH $7,000 GIVING THEM A FREE CRUISE AND BONUSES...I bet you also treated them like royalty and gave them top their service food, and internet.... WOW... REALLY... SO THEY CAN LIE AND PORTRAY NORWEGIAN IS GREAT, OR DARE I SAY THE BEST!!!! NOPE.... TRASH CRUISES !!! We did not even receive what port to arrive at to board. We had to call customer service and she searched for about 5 minutes and she found it by accident in fine print. Smh. SHAME!!!

Don't take nice clothes !!!! Our biggest complaint was lack of dress codes. Shorts, t-shirts and flip flops should not be allowed in dining rooms for evening dinner

If you are smoker - do NOT go on the Getaway. For two complete days they were "fueling" the ship and closed all the smoking areas.
