Overall the cruise was fine. A vacation is a vacation and a cruise is a cruise. Only negatives were the problems with first day embarkation and the food quality in the garden Cafe on the Getaway

The ship was 4 hours late. Not normally a problem but the process was so unorganized once the ship arrived with the registration and embarkation process. I paid for priority Access and everybody got to go on into same time so I didn't get what I paid for. I asked for a refund from NCR at first I refused and then the second time they offered me a $75 credit.

Restaurants were fine but the buffet was not of the standards as I'm used to with NCL. There is no variety and it was the same things almost every night and afternoon. I was just on the Norwegian Joy a few months earlier and the food was phenomenal, the garden Cafe menu choices were changed daily and the variety was great.

The show million Dollar quartet was probably the best show I've ever seen. Good job NCL. Just wish they would have had shows more than twice on a 15-day Cruise.

Service was average. Again, service on the NCL Joy just a few months ago was so much better. But this was not terrible just not exceptional
Thanks for a great review. Glad you had a good time overall & that NCL refunded you for mishandling your priority embarkation, albeit a partial payment. NCL needs to have a consistent policy on this. The passenger shouldn’t have to ask twice for a refund if they failed to deliver on what you paid for. I totally agree w/ your experience onboard the JOY!! I was just there in April & it was amazing. Their Garden Cafe variety is great, which explains why it’s always packed. Great itinerary! Thanks for sharing & happy cruising 😎⚓️🤩❣️‼️
