Review summary

Staff very friendly, ship very clean. Kind of boring. Especially with private island day canceled and 6 days stuck on a ship

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was usually good. Only a few spectacular meals. Desserts were mostly not appetizing. Alcoholic drinks were very weak even for a lightweight

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Kids pool area was great when it wasn't packed. Large pool area was usually crowded. Kids 4 foot deep pool was less crowded but often closed. The slides were cool

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shore duo was not very good The million dollar quartet was great! As was the few shows we watched in the atrium

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
The crew seemed friendly. My 8 year old didn't enjoy it much because she said it was too loud and the kids didn't have manners to share. But that's expected in a kids club

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This is what saved the trip. Employees are all very kind and helpful. Always so nice

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleanliness gets 10 stars. The ship is extremely clean. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the layout. biggest downfall being the pool area. I feel like it was kind of enclosed and didn't like the closed off floor plan

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was as expected. Very clean. We were located right at the opening to the stairway and elevators. It was overall quieter then I expected and super convenient. 2 stairways up and your at the buffet which was awesome !

Ship tip

The great stirrup cay doesn't have a dock. If you have your heart set on a included beach day then look for a cruise line with a dock because I am not hearing that them canceling island day is becoming a common thing.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Nothing to do unless you pay for an excusion. And even then your options are limited. We chose to do the cocoa beach transfer. Glad we did since we lost our private island beach day. Beach was okay. Sands were rough

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

We didn't visit it but I'm giving it 1 star because no dock. We feel like we were jipped

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Pure chaos getting off the ship here. But its nice to check out the area. Blue lagoon is the excusion we did and I would say overall it was good. Just wish the duration was longer

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Overall easy, took a bit to get off tho

The ship could not go to the Private Island because there was difficulties with the tenders going there it never would have worked. The captain mentioned why we couldn't go and you know what things happen people get disappointed but all in all it could have been a port where you could have done excursions so with that it was hard being on a ship for so many days but we made the vacation the best for ourselves my husband and I.
