Review summary

The staff did the best they could to accommodate everyone but I was not completely happy with my experience on this cruise. From what I was told it is a very enjoyable experience on the right cruise or a cruise that give transparency and options.

Embarkation

This was my first cruise and a gift for my birthday. I was unable to enjoy any embarking because we only docked for 5hrs from the night to the wee hours in the morning. The whole experience was playing catch up for updated information making the experience not as enjoyable.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were amazing and a highlight of the trip. The staff was nice and friendly. The food was delicious with great presentation.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There was much I was unable to enjoy. I felt the cruise was crowded, overbooked and understaffed

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was great with dining room staff until my last day. The waiter I had was rude and short with us to rush us out of the dining room even though the shop was running late escorting us off the boat and handling our bags. There was also a man at customer service who name I didn't get who was rude when I asked for assistance and again when I was exiting the boat confused on directions.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The boat was extremely clean and maintained. Tl

Cabin / Stateroom

Comfortable and extremely clean.

Ports of call

New York, New York

Slow process to enter. We were kept outside on one of the coldest days in NYC. When exiting the ship I noticed a seating area where the incoming cruisers were sitting and no line outside of people waiting in the cold.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda Did not visit port

We were told once we got on the boat that we were not going to Bermuda. I later spoke to someone in the I believe falcon rooms are what they called it, were notified prior to boarding that plans were changed. I was unaware we were only stopping for such a short time. Given the opportunity I would've opted for another time being that it was my first cruise and a birthday gift from my mother.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
A little unorganized
