Review summary

Husband and I booked this 48 hours before it set sail - last minute holiday fun! It was a crazy rush to get everything figured out, but it was a blast! We didn't book excursions which was perfect since our Port days changed a couple of times and those lines at the excursion desk to fix everything was insane. Just a really chill, relaxed kid free cruise for us!

Embarkation

No issues. We pretty much walked right on despite the fact that we booked this within 48 hours of the cruise so we couldn't pre-check in. Quick and efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining room and specialty restaurants were very good! Buffet was okay. Some supply chain issues made finding some items a but more difficult.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fun activites - trivia, bingo, shows. Pool was packed because it was summer, but that was expected. Parties (white, 80's, 90's) were well attended and very fun!

Service and Staff

Bartenders/Servers in Spice H20 were amazing (as they almost always are)! Going above and beyond. All crew were friendly and helpful. Had some great conversations with waiters, steward and bartenders.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and up to NCL standards. The layout (for me) was a bit backwards - I kept walking toward the front while I meant to be going back, but again - my problem, not the ship lol

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had a standard balcony - it was a great room. No issues at all. The balcony was the smallest I have ever had on any ship! Like it was so small that the 2 chairs and tiny table/footrest barely fit. So strange, but since I was pretty much out there by myself reading it was fine.

Ports of call

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Spent all day just laying on the beach reading and taking dips in the ocean. I walked for quite a while to find a spot with shade - ended up by the Clam shells which was perfect because food and the frozen drink cart were right there!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Love Old San Juan. Got off the ship and wandered. If you need a pharmacy because you forgot something, etc there is literally a walgreens within feet of getting off the ship.

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
I like this port, I just wish getting to and from it were a little easier, but what can you do!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
Just walked around the port area for a bit

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No issues, quick and easy
