Review summary

Thank you NCL, we had an awesome First time experience. Keep up the great job.... I look forward to trying the Pr1ma or another NCL in the future. If only the Pr1ma was kid free.. the only other issue besides the smoking indoors was the running in the corridors by kids. It always sounded like a heard of elephants charging down the corridors waking me up but that is on the parents not the cruise line.

Food and Dining

We enjoyed our dining experience. The staff were very polite and attentive. We had a blast at Le Bistro... They tricked my husband with an empty dinner plate. They were very attentive to providing our 2 family members with room service that night as they were unable to join us.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed sitting in the Atrium with the Trivia and other activities. Would of loved to do the slots but due to the smoking and me having asthma I was not able to enjoy that area. My only complaint is allowing smoking inside the ship as there are travelers that have asthma that can be triggered by cigarette smoke. I can chose to avoid the outside areas but I found myself having to walk through the Casino area a few times.

Entertainment

We had a blast. Burn the floor, Million dollar Quartette, Howl at the moon dueling Piano's... The entertainment did not disappoint.

Our children are grown, and did not come with us on this trip.

Service and Staff

Everyone we encountered was helpful and polite. Thank you to the life guard that rescued my husbands croc in the middle of the pool one windy night. It had blown into the pool. It was his first rescue of the day! A super big Thank you to our Room Steward Brian Rm 12244. He always had a smile on his face, greeted us daily by name and took very good care of us. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

We love the ship. The only complaint is allowing smoking in the interior of the ship in the Casino area. Not only is the smell offensive to some, but other's like myself are allergic and can have an asthma attack from the cigarette smoke.

Cabin / Stateroom

After watching a few YouTube video's on the size of the cabins and how little space there was, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean. The mattress was uncomfortable the first night but after asking for a mattress topper it was fine.
