Review summary

Next time we will look for a cruise that is at port for entire day or overnight so we aren't rushed. Overall a good trip, just a few disappointments as far as music of all genres/day dancing.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Like herding cattle, weaving in and through the building.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool area was fun but had envisioned a much larger area with dj/music throughout the day, that wasn't how it was.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not a big variety of music throughout the day.

Children's Programs

No kids with us.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Some really good wait staff some not so much.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was very clean and larger than expected.

Ship tip

If you are a smoker, may want to think about a different ship. Deck 16 had an outdoor smoking area but was closed for private functions several times. The other options are the casino and a small enclosure by the pool that stunk terribly due to so many people in an area maybe 20×15.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
Visited Bourbon street and French quarter, had a great time!

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Did a private island but total time on island on beach was about 3 hours.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Didn't book thru Norwegian but took a taxi around, absolutely beautiful.

Harvest Caye, Belize

5 out of 5
Beach day, another beautiful area!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
Took a taxi to beach, another beautiful beach but very limited on time at this port.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Very crowded as 1 would expect with near 4000 people exiting the ship.

I would just caution about picking a cruise for a specific port... Ive had several ports canceled or changed due to weather.... Ive seen many people say their cruise was "ruined" because a port was changed or canceled.
