I enjoyed this cruise. I will sail NCL again for the spa package and drink and food packages.

Lines were longer than I am used to, but this is the biggest ship I have been on. I expected a little craziness.

Food and Dining

Buffet- great Teppanyaki- great Cagneys Steak House- not great. The sides we ordered were sub par, and just very bland. The lobster bisque was terrible. 19 dollar up charge for a lobster tail that was very small in size. Shrimp cocktail came with 3 and a half shrimp. Ocean Blue Seafood- good. O’Sheehans was great. We ate there 4 times. Over all, I enjoyed the food. Just won’t eat at Cagneys again.

The Spa was amazing. Very relaxing. One of the better Spas I have used.

Pool

Pool was very entertaining. Had a guy there every day from open to close that drank all of their Michelob Ultra Lights. People watching at its finest. Great afternoon music. Bartenders work very hard!

Service and Staff

All of their staff appears to work extra hard due to the capacity of the ship. Didn’t have any bad experiences other than the occasional longer wait for food or drink. I had more of an issue with fellow ship mates cutting in lines or ordering ahead of you when they obviously knew you were waiting before them.

Comfortable cabin. Smaller than I am used to, but close to the Spa.

Ship tip

Book specialty restaurants ahead of time. Expect the occasional wait for bar drinks, and O’sheehans.
