It was a good cruise but we just personally prefer Royal Caribbean.
Embarkation

The process was pretty fast, the waiting area though is woefully small for this ship.

Food and Dining

The buffet was lacking in size and diversity. My comparison is to my previous cruises on Royal Caribbean. It was hit or miss on whether or not the food was palatable. I will say their cake was outstanding! Dessert gripe: No cookies or brownies.....like ever. Margaritaville was a big disappointment, as the food looked great but did not deliver on the taste. It did not represent the Margaritaville franchise well.
Onboard Activities

Too windy/cool to sun and enjoy the pools for us. They did have Super Bowl LIV on the big screen at Spice H2O. Go Chiefs!
Entertainment

We enjoyed Deal or No Deal, The Newlywed Game, and Bingo. Aside from that there was nothing else of interest for us. I would suggest they move Deal or No Deal from the Atrium to the Theater. Vice versa for Bingo. The Atrium is overused as a venue and it’s limited
Service and Staff

Guest services did an adequate job, our room attendant did a fine job, but we had an issue with our card falling off our account for charges. It was literally one of the first things you do for checking in online for your cruise, why would I need to re-register it? The wait staff in the MDR did a great job and were friendly.

Love our cabin!
Ship tip
Be prepared for the chaos of the port in New Orleans.
We had a day before and a day after the cruise there. Nice town, friendly people, but the drinking culture is not my scene. We did enjoy ourselves beyond that side of things.
I am being harsh, it wasn’t their fault, the weather made us late. The disembarkation because of the lateness became a crap fest. It is what it is, when you have 60 knot winds keeping you from reentering the Mississippi River, its gonna be rough.
