Review summary

We cruised with our family, so 9 of us in total. Great memories made. This ship is very large, very clean and honestly the only negative thing I can think of really is the smoking. The smoking box on the pool deck is not a great space at all but does keep the non smomers not subjected to the smoke. However in the casino its different. You can smoke in the casino but the casino is kinda the middle of the ship and shares the open space with the atrium and shops etc so walking thru those ares really smells like smoke.

Every place we ate on the ship was good. If we wanted something lite it was available and if we wanted something savory it was available. We did not go hungry..lol

Onboard Activities

The kids (all teenagers) would have liked more to do for them aside from the pool or the waterslide. But all in all they were able to stay entertained.

Service and Staff

The service on this ship was hands down the best. Everyone, including the "washy, washy" people in the buffett were incredibly nice, welcoming and always smiling.

Average size cabin. Suited our needs just fine since we are rarely in the cabin. The shower was awesome with multiple shower heads.

Ship tip

If you are a smoker, you are limited to a box on the pool deck that is pretty enclosed and maybe has enough space for 15 people. It gets extremely smokey in there.

Not my kind of city. Very crowded. You also have to pay to park everywhere there. Eithe parking garage, valet or lot. But the beach was beautiful.

Disembarkation

Stood in line for about 45 mins and then we were let off ship to get luggage. Then had to get luggage and then go thru customs. So that was a bit strange but still not bad.

Agreed about the smokers box. I didn’t like walking past it with my little ones or going for walks on the waterfront and smokers outside at the bar, don’t get me wrong they are entitled to smoke that is their right just maybe different areas not a walking path or near a kids water area. We had a extended balcony on this ship and the guy above us kept smoking in his room and dropping ashes down on our balcony. One day he dropped a lit cigarette on our chair.... not cool. We told our steward which told security however he said I don’t smoke in my room so they couldn’t do anything. What if something caught on fire! Please just go to the allowed areas! I love the ship though we are going on it again in January! Glad you had fun!
