Just went on this ship in August. It was outstanding, in all regards. It’s impossible that you rated the ship 1-star on everything, except Harvest Caye. The ship is excellent for all ages. There were LOTS of families with kids, including mine. I’m picky about food quality, and I was impressed.

Compared to party ships Carnival it could be viewed as geared toward "old people" but I enjoy the family- friendly atmosphere and don't feel like I have to shield my kids' eyes when out on the pool deck and explain why everyone is acting so foolish because they've never had to witness grown inebriated adults who are acting like children. We love it and take a 9 day cruise with our kids on the Getaway or Breakaway every Christmas!
