Review summary

The Norwegian Getaway was a fantastic ship. I appreciated the multitude of restaurants and bars. The food was excellent!!! Compliments to the chef. Free-style dining made it even better. The staff provided outstanding service. Always smiling and willing to provide assistance. This was my first cruise and now I am hooked. I am already looking at NCL cruises for next year. Thank you!

Fitness center had a lot of equipment. It was great to have a view of the water from the cardio room

Burn the Floor, Cirque Dreams and Wine Lovers the Musical were all great. The only disappointment was Escape the Big Top. It was very difficult and only one team could answer the puzzle. Even when the MC tried to explain it did not make sense and people walked out.

Glad you enjoyed it. We love cruising and I’ve always enjoyed the food in the dining room and buffets on our cruise lines. I have seen several recent reviews with people complaining about how horrible the food was and that there was nothing they could eat. It seems impossible to not find something you could eat on a cruise.
