We have been on many cruises and this was the very best we have been on.

Pretty standard but lots of waiting around. We arrived about 1pm and it still took around 45 minutes to get aboard.

Saw the Cirque show and was not overly impressed. It was ok but some guy doing a knife throwing act - really! I'm sure i could have done exactly the same. The Acrobats etc were brilliant so - some good, some bad but worth a watch. (food was good).

Staff were universally good, if a little abrupt. Nothing you could put your finger on just ...... Sitting at a bar waiting to get a drink for ten minutes, bartender turned round (eventually) and says "closed". No explanation, no "sorry, we are setting up", no "we will be ten minutes" just "closed".
Ship Quality

Loved the layout of the ship, particularly the waterfront - brilliant. Loved the way everything was clean and sparkling. I even remarked to my wife about the lack of even the tiniest bit of rust or dirt!
Cabin / Stateroom

Got upgraded to a mini-suite with balcony and to be honest could not see a difference with the balcony cabin, until i went into the bathroom! Large bathroom with walk-in shower etc., well worth the upgrade if this is important to you. Mind you, my wife had lost her suitcase and i couldn't imagine where she would have put all her clothes if it had arrived. The balcony was probably the smallest i have ever seen. Having said that we enjoyed our cabin and our steward was fabulous.
