Review summary

i stayed in a Studio room which had plenty of storage and access to the studio lounge. Unfortunately the bed was so hard i had trouble sleeping. The pillows were extremely lumpy and so soft that using 2 pillows my head sunk almost to the mattress. Also the announcements couldn't be heard in my room so I had to ask about things that were said. Overall I loved the ship and all the things to do on it. Disembarkation was extremely chaotic. I was on the cruise that the employee went overboard on so we had to turn around and go look for him which made us very late getting back to Miami.

The main dining room Taste was a big disappointment. I ordered NY strip steak and it was tough and stringy. I sent it back and got the lamb that was extremely tough. The creme brulle was not crunchy on top and when I mentioned it to the waiter he told me "that was the way they made it.

A very fun place with great entertainment at night. Also has on of the best and friendliest bartenders I ran across.

My room steward was excellent as was most personnel, but there were a few rude ones also. But overall the majority of the staff was great, friendly and helpful. Arron the bartender at H2O was excellent.

My main complaint was that many restrooms had empty soap dispensers.

Ship tip

If you want to see most of the shows, reserve early or you are out of look. Many were booked before the cruise. Also I found to get from one end of the ship to the next without having to go up and down elevators because the deck I was on didn't go all the way through, I would go to deck 8 because it ran from one end to the other...LOL

Being a privately owned NCL island there wasn't much here but if you like beaches and pools it was great. Also your ship's drink package does not work here. You have to pay for food and drinks.

I went to Tulum Mexico to the Mayan ruins. Very nice fun excursion that included a ferry ride from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen, then an hour bus ride to Tulum.

Hey your lucky your room wasn't next to the housekeeping door! They kept slamming the exit door into the wall WHERE MY ROOM IS! Woke me up every time! 😡

The room steward has soft mattress covers that make a hard bed soft. You also could have had your pillow switched out. Maybe the speaker was turned off or down in your room. Did you ask? That poor employee! I read that he was rescued.
