The Good, the bad and the rediculous
Norwegian Getaway Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Review summaryThe ship was clean and our room was nice. Staff were pleasant for the most part. The shows were saw (Burn the Floor, Howl at the Moon) were great fun. The shopping was nice for a small area. Ports were great with the exception of Belize which was like an extension of the ship. The food was fairly good, but the same menu in all three included dining areas. Noodle bar was so bad we left after a few bites. Wasabi's was amazing. The security on board did nothing when a group of underage kids (under 18) were under the influence in areas that were designated adults being loud, offensive and trashing area throughout the cruise. Disembarkation was quick and well organized.
Food and Dining
Waves Pool Bar
Great staff but overworked.
Great place to have breakfast and dinner. Staff were really nice and the food was good.
This was a great place for sushi. Really enjoyed the staff.
Shanghai's Noodle Bar
The worst food on the ship. Noodles were overcooked and dry. Two bites and we left.
Nice staff who were attentive.
O'Sheehan's Neighborhood Bar and Grille
Great place for breakfast. They forgot to even place the order on a couple days when they were busy at lunch.
Open-Air Garden Café
Food was okay. Good option if your hanging by the pool.
Nice quiet place for a drink
Great fun but beware when they say no jewelry they mean it. Not even a tiny diamond in my nose I haven't had out in many years.
Super fun but staff did nothing when a little girl got stung by a bee. I offered her help and found mom.
Very crowded most days. People get too serious about saving chairs in the morning.
Games were fun didn't see anyone hit a good win. Drink service is practically non existent unless you go to the bar.
Good time dancing the night away. Lots of underage drinking.
Headliners Comedy Club
Good fun. All seats were excellent.
