This was my 1st. Cruise vacation. I was so amazed by everything on the ship. The food was super excellent. The cleanliness on the ship was amazing. The cruise staff were very curtious and helpful at all times. The night activities were through the top.
Norwegian Getaway Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Overall my Cruise expectation was excellent. The staff was always professional and respectful. The food at the restaurants and specially at the buffet was better than excellent. The only thing I did not like, was that my stateroom toilet smelled like urine inside the bowl every time, even after flushing.

I didn’t get in the pool because it was very small and always crowed. I did enjoy the night activities, such as the stand-up comedy, the music singing tributes. I specially enjoyed the 70/80’s music on deck 16. That was my favorite. It took me back to my teenage years. The fitness center and the spa was off the chain. Fitness Center has so many and new machines. I also enjoyed a facial and acupuncture at the Spa.

The waiters were always very pleasant, they always kept coming back to make sure your cup was always full. Food presentation was excellent and always delicious. All the eating Halls were kept very clean at all times. The staff was always dressed very sharp and professional. They were willingly helpful to any questions you had.

The common areas were always kept super clean. There was always hand sanitizers everywhere. The crew was always cleaning at the buffet which made me feel very safe about eating anything on board and not worrying about getting sick.

Ship tip
There’s nothing bad about the Norwegian Getaway. You will never be bored on this ship. I had a blast every single day. When we were at Port the various Ports, I was so proud comparing how huge the Norwegian Getaway is to other ships at Port. I felt very safe.
Roatan was my very favorite . The beach was clean and absolutely beautiful. I went snorkeling and the staff on the beach was always willingly to take us to the most beautiful reefs. The security staff at the beach made us feel safe, because they watched our personal belongings while we went snorkeling and/or swimming.
