Enjoyable but not the best cruise we have ever done.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Embarkation is in a very crowded room where everyone is forced to stand in two major queues for a long time with little movement.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We liked that there were six dining room choices at no extra cost. Many choices of specialty restaurants, but why pay even more? Buffet is typical and adequate.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Sun and pool decks were always crowded. Normal, I guess. Mass of humanity. 4000+ people.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Absolutely fabulous productions! Saw Million Dollar Quartet three times. Dancers are the most professional we have ever seen.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Good service, but no personalization. I don't know the name of my room steward and never saw him.
Dining in a different dining room each time makes it hard to get to know any waiter or server.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Easy to find places on Decks 6-7-8. Well planned.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
A bit cramped and small. Not much room to walk alongside the bed. Nice spacious bathroom compared to some ships.
Ship tip
I missed dining at the same table each night, with the same people. If you like that traditional service, don't do freestyle.
Took the island tour but it was mainly a long van ride along the only road. Terrible potholes and mud in the road, due to storms. Overall a depressing place.
Nicely laid out features for tourists in port --- dophin swims, sand beach with snorkel pool, lovely large swimming pool, shops, native performances. Pleasant day for anyone.
Port is large and confusing, but the island offers a lot. We did a ride around the island and the cacao experience. Looks like the island is there only for tourists. Sad, in a way.
Very large line to disembark. Why not call people more specifically, like by alphabet, rather than have hundreds of people line up through multiple hallways, called by only five or so luggage tag colors?
