Review summary

I have always enjoyed traveling on Norwegian Cruise Lines and this was no exception. The staff is always very friendly. The food at the Garden Room buffet was just ok, but that has come to be expected. The entertainment was was good with a good variety of genre.

Everything went smoothly due to pre-checking in online and having all our documents ready at the gate.

The only complaint I had with the Tropicana room dining was that at certain times they had live music or entertainment that if you were sitting near the stage it was too loud and you couldn't here each other talk.

The waiters were a little slow, one evening it took us more than an hour and a half to eat our meal. The room stewards were great as always and always attentive to our needs.

It was confortable enough, but as with any cruise ship, it was a little cramped.

Ship tip

In order to operate the air conditioning, make sure the balcony door is shut AND locked or the system won't run correctly.

I love Norwegian cruise line. I was on the breakaway twice and on The getaway. Both great ships. Great service, food & entertainment. Was perfect. So glad u enjoyed
