Review summary

I would have given it a 5 star review, but on April 6, I tripped over the high threshold in my stateroom bathroom, and took the skin off of my right knee, and fractured a small bone in the knee.  I spent the day of the Cayman Island excursion in bed, in pain.  This excursion was one of the main reasons for taking the cruise, and I missed it.  I also spent a couple of hours in your infirmary being checked out and xrayed.  This cruise cost me too much money to get hurt when I am suppose to be having fun.  It is a great cruise, but they need to do something about those bathroom thresholds, especially for senior citizens.

If you are disabled in any way, you can request an "accessible" cabin. There are no thresholds to trip on.

I'm sorry you were injured. That threshold you mentioned concerns me as I am somewhat disabled. I wonder of they have cabins without it? Thanks for the warning.

We will be old one day @mrstarr0415 but I'm sure I wouldn't knock off stars from a cruise because "I" tripped. It's my responsibility where I step. Not the cruise. It's not like there was a hole in the floor.

@mrstarr she said she explicitly knocked off two stars because she tripped. That's blame.

The couple didn't blame anybody there we go with the cruise snobs , the person said she got hurt and she was upset so shut up @cruisingluvcouple and to the person that got her I hope u get to go again and have fun , y'all cruise people need to respect senior citizens ur going to be one one day

There are reasons for the step up into the washrooms on board. I will bet that on future cruises you will take note of the entrance into your bathroom on board.

On my first cruise I had a specular fall out of the shower into the hallway. Quite funny when I think about it now......

I agree. We know where we have to step up and down in our homes. Take a minute to look at your surroundings. The step should not have been a surprise to you.

Understand your concern, honestly as adults and human beings you do need to take some responsibility of your own also...accidents can happen anywhere and anytime ....let's be real you stumbled and unfortunately got banged up some....can't always blame someone or something else, if this happens at home who gets blamed
