Review summary

This was our 2nd time on the Getaway and it is okay. We like Norwegian for the fact that you can go to Dinner at anytime; afterall you are on vacation. Staff is very nice. If you like the dining staff entertainment, do another cruise line. Freestyle Dining is more important to us.

In my opinion this is where Norwegian needs to make some improvements. They do not have a theater show every night like most ships and really need to......they have 2 theater shows and you need to make a reservation in advance, the comedy club Headliners is ok; the entertainers we have seen are good, the seating is very uncomfortable and hard to get a cocktail unless you get there awhile before the show starts. Here too you need a reservation in advance (like 3 days). Too Much preplanning in my opinion. The Magic Show is a dinner show with and advanced reservation and fee of $29.95 pp.

Water pressure is very good in the shower.

Ship tip

This ship holds (3900) the pool is very small and you really cant use the pool. The H2O deck area for sun bathing is packed, you cant even get a lounge chair, if you do you cant get in it;one on top of another. NOT complaining, this is cruising, I am just pointing out what to expect.
