A fun week on a great ship.

Sail Date: December 20, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was beautiful with lots of things to do to keep you busy.  We loved the Dueling Piano bar and Comedy shows.  Ports were fun except that we missed the private island in the Bahamas due to rough seas.  Service was real good in the restaurants and freestyle dining is the way to go.

The only negative was getting off Grand Cayman back to the ship via tenders.  We had to wait an hour and a half in a line in hot weather.  Greater coordination is needed to fix that problem.

Only other complaint is the price of a beer is now approaching eight bucks with an 18% gratuity.

Cabin / Stateroom
It was a little smaller than most ships but still plenty of room. The balcony was also a little smaller as well but again not enough to ruin the experience.

Make sure you enjoy the Dueling Piano bar and comedy shows they were our highlight.
Also when dining in the Tropicana try to sit in RD's (Artisian) section as he provided a wonderful dining experience with superior service.
