Review summary

Just got back from a 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Getaway. The ship is truly amazing, with fabulous dining venues, plenty of bars and lounges for any mood, and the public areas are excellently maintained. We stayed in a SPA Balcony stateroom, and we truly enjoyed using the thermal suites in the SPA regularly...what a treat! The shows were fun, and the excursions had something for everyone. What we enjoyed most was the laid back casual style of cruising with Norwegian without compromising on service or value.

Far enough away from public areas that it is quiet at night, but still easily accessible to anything and everything throughout the day/night.

Spealialty dining restaurants are rarely booked on the first 2 nights of the cruise; book entertainment early

It's a balcony stateroom that includes entrance to the thermal suite. The size is the same but the decor is a bit different and the rooms are located with close proximity - within a deck or two - to the thermal suite area. We fell in love with the relaxing thermal suite on the NCL Pearl and can't wait to try the Getaway!

So glad to hear about your SPA balcony room and the thermal suite. We're headed to the Western Caribbean on Getaway in July in a SPA balcony. Was the thermal suite easily accessible? Crowded at all? Any suggestions for "must do's" on the Getaway?
