Review summary

We were very disappointed about this cruise Norweign customer service cannot and will not solve problems about issues they give excuses but do not have the authority to change anything so what ever you paid for even though there is a mistake and you have to live with it until your cruise is over and you have to contact who ever you scheduled your cruise through too late by this time.  Our hole reason for this cruise was to get our parents to St. Thomas to celebrate their 26 year anniversary 14 family members flew to St. Thomas to meet use there myself, wife, father, mother and aunt took the cruise to insure we get them to St. Thomas.  We were told after we sailed that we would not be going to St. Thomas and that we had an option to get off the ship in the Bahamas and fly to St. Thomas but that we would not be refunded for the cruise.  First we would not make it on time.  The bottom of this form still has us going to St Thomas, British  virgin island, and Bahamas.  Looks like   doesn't  even know where we went.  We were scheduled for two state rooms and in canceling one it turned everything into a disaster we did not get what we paid for would like to request some type of compensation

I totally agreed . We can't blame the cruise line for weather related diversion . Actually I really like Cozumel and Jamaica .

it very plan on our cruise docs and all the info I downloaded from ncl that it is the captains decision on the itinerary of the ship. he has to make the decision to divert when the seas are too high or weather is bad. we were on the ncl jewel March 2014 and we didn't get to see Costa Mia because they closed the ports.

I just got off the Getaway today and I was disappointed. The customer service was awful. I purchase the UBP and the next day they told me my ccard was decline so I went down to put another card on file and they had put two packages on my account. They said they we're going to fix it but the next day I was told again that my card was decline. Come to find out they didnt remove the extra package and tried to put the blame on me and was rude with it. After going back and fourth, I had to seriously go off on Guest Service. They finally took the extra package off but still tried to run my card for two and again was very rude and brushing me off. I ask again what was the number to corporate but was never given to me. I again had to go off and told them to cancel my account and I didn't purchase anything on the boat. I'm WILL NOT sail with NCL again never.

So sorry that you had to miss your very important stop in St. Thomas.  I can understand how disappointing and frustrating this was to you and your entire family.  These things happen and believe me the captain didn't want to have to make any changes.  I hope that future cruises go smoother for you.

Our review forms are based on the original cruise itinerary provided by the cruise line. We don't get updated itineraries when there is a change during the cruise.

Read the fine print! Unless you got the insurance quit complaining..you can't change Mother Nature!!

Why were you diverted? If it was due to weather I doubt there is anything that can be done. My understanding is when you book it is on your forms that destinations may be changed due to weather. Personally I would rather miss a stop then have the cruise line risk the safety of those onboard.
