The ship Norwegian Getaway was beautiful. Our room was so nice, the bed was very comfortable with the softest sheets, we enjoyed the balcony over looking the water too. The staff was great and were happy to get you what you needed. Great selection of restaurants too, including a buffet that was fantastic. We did find the contests in the pool area fun and entertaining. Loved the pool where you could sit in a chair and soak your feet and not have to get all wet. Music and entertainment was great all day at the pool. We enjoyed the 4 jacuzzi's after a fun filled day out snorkeling. We really enjoyed the 70's dance party. The Glow party was exciting, however, the music was to loud and it was so over crowded, that we had to leave. The Cruise director Joel and his assistant did a great job keeping us entertained. Dining was excellent and we especially enjoyed the Tropicana Supper Club, Music and entertainment while you dined, loved it. It was truly a vacation of a life time and We would love go again.

Beautiful!
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were so soft and nice. The bathroom had a nice shower and sink. No electrical outlets in bathroom. Two shelves for all of your things. Closet had plenty of room for all your clothes. It also had a safe for your valuables. One thing we had a problem with was, you need a key card in the cabin slot to have electricity. When you leave, no electric and you are not able to charge I-phones etc. at that time. Beautiful room and we really enjoyed the balcony.
Ship tip
Try the supper club Tropicana, it is included with your dinning choices. Be entertained while you eat. Wonderful service and ambiance. We loved it!
We Toured the city in the open air city bus. Be sure to eat lunch at the Cuban restaurant, La Esquina Fama. Buffet to die for and live music. Very festive.
Very dissapointed in Atlantis water park. Cost was expensive for how much time we had to spend there. We wanted to eat at a consession stand and they would only take cards no cash. We didn't bring our visa card. It was a long walk to each water slide and lazy river. So exausted by the time we got back. You need a week to go there, not one day. The cost ot go there for half a day was over $300 for 2, not happy. Not to say we expected a much better experience and we would not recommend this Excurrsion.
