Review summary

This is a great family friendly cruise. A bit more casual than we are used to. New ship which is always nice. Staff provided excellent service. Our favorite excursion was in St. Thomas. It was the Powercat snorkeling & beach adventure.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The freestyle dining was fine but we really loved the Hibachi and the Churrascaria restaurants. Worth the splurge! Avoid the Ice Bar. $20 a person and you felt like you were in a meat locker. Value not there.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots to do. From Bingo, to game shows, to shuffleboard and ping pong. Slides were great. Pool area small.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were outstanding. Burn the Fire was great. And Illusionarium is a must see. (You do have to pay for that one but it comes with a full course meal and it was amazing!)

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Those were a hit and a miss but I would say from my kid's perspective. their feedback was based on the activity. But the staff running those programs were great!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Setyo was great. Overall service was excellent all over the ship.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
New ship so everything was clean and fresh.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Overall the balcony stateroom worked for us as a family of 4. Space is limited for where to put your clothes. Had to be creative!

Ship tip

Attend the 30 minute excursion meeting. It is worth it. I got lots of information in a short period of time that allowed us to plan for great excursions without having to comb through every single option. And book early. They fill up.

we live in south florida. Miami has lots to offer from beaches and shopping.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Go to the French side. Orient Beach was fine. If you have children tell the taxi to take you to the far north end of the beach. If not you will see topless women the further south you go.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Gorgeous beaches and pristine waters. This is where to snorkel. People were super friendly.
