Review summary
If you're looking for a cruise experience to know you socks off - this isn't it. There was nothing about our cruise that would stop us from sailing Noweigan again if the price and timing were right. Just the same, there was nothing about our experience that would prompt us to actively seek out another Norweigan cruise. This was our first Noweigan cruise. It was our least favorite cruiseline. We were not opposed to the casual dining experience, but the problem was that the overall service and experience was too casual. We personally enjoy a more pampered experience. We're also foodies and the food was good, but the choices were underwhelming. The entertainment on Norweigan, however, was top notch. We prefer getting to know our room steward and waiters and missed this on the Norweigan cruise. The service in the dininig room was slow and impersonal. We never saw our room steward. The overall experience was not negative, just underwhelming.
