Review summary

We enjoyed the cruise overall the sea was so calm we didn’t even realize we were on a ship. Smoothest cruise I have ever been on.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy. Took only a few minutes to check in and board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Average food. Nothing too special. Teppanyaki was our favorite.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We went to the magic show. Pretty standard show but enjoyable to pass the time. Went to the other shows. The 70s show was very good and the broadway 80s show was not so good. Most ppl left the Broadway show.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Pretty average, nothing that really wowed us but we aren’t really on the cruises for this as our interests are the ports.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service always good in restaurants . Our stateroom attendant complained and refused to give us more than two towels. Had to call everyday for another towel.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Thought he ship was nice and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was a nice size for us., we had no complaints. We did laugh at out curtains as it looked like a cat with nails got a hold on it with all the holes.

Ship tip

Always remember it is your vacation and you can make it a good one or not. The decision is yours.

Ports of call

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Didn’t really enjoy and maybe it was our excursion we did. But overall not impressed.

Portland, Maine

5 out of 5
We decided to do a tour not with the cruise line and went with Portland Discovery Tours. Highly recommend this company. Only a 5 minute walk from the port and our guide was wonderful. Drove the city and went to the lighthouse. For us this was actually the best excursion we did.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Another beautiful port to end the cruise. We did Arcadia National Park tour while it was a good tour with fantastic views, you can actually just walk around and enjoy the port and have a good lunch off the ship. We went to Paddy’s and I had really good fish and chips.

Boston, Massachusetts

5 out of 5
We loved Boston. Spent several days prior to our cruise. Did the two day hop on hop off trolley. Well worth it!

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Loved this city. Had a great time. Went on a tour of Peggy’s Cove. Beautiful. We actually did the hop on hop off through the cruise line but we started later then expected so we only went to Peggy’s Cove and skipped he hop on hop off part of the tour.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

3 out of 5
Same as PEI. Not impressed

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
It was a bit disorganized as no clear communication at in the am. But once it started it was very smooth.

We loved Bar Harbor. Some of the small Canadian towns did not have many exciting options for excursions
