Review summary

I would go again if they were able to organize disembarkation. We enjoyed everything else.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Things worked very smoothly. We had some confusion when we got on the boat - when we asked what we were to do or where to go, we were told to "do whatever you want."

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Wonderful food. Strongly recommend getting the two free specialty restaurant deal, but the buffet was amazing as well.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I recommend taking the Behind the Scenes tour - so informative and interesting. Most activities were not free or seemed to be sales pitches. The pools were very full most of the times, so we skipped those.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Amazing productions! (I still can't figure out how those performers could dance like that on a moving ship!) The comedian was very good.

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was amazing - he remembered our names and made a point of making us feel welcome. This is particularly amazing because he would have to start over every week.

Cabin / Stateroom

Getting a balcony room was the best decision of the trip.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
The experiences was awful and tainted an overall wonderful cruise. We had purchased Priority Access, which should have allowed us to disembark early. However, instead of gathering when each group was called, people just lined up at the same time and there was no way to get to the disembarkation point when our group was called. I asked for assistance twice but was told to just "stay in line." We ended up spending almost an hour and a half in line because we followed the instructions. There needs to be more "crowd control" of this process so that people aren't left standing so long; there must be a better way than how it was done.
