Review summary

The ship is in decent shape, the service was very good, the entertainment average, the food okay, Bermuda fine. Internet access non existent, which for a large party was a major problem for us as we couldn’t connect on even simple things like where can we meet for dinner.

Ship tip

If you need access to the internet while on board, don’t take this cruise. Even though everyone in our party paid a substantial upcharge for internet, it rarely worked. Very common complaint amongst all passengers and complaining didn’t help at all. Made it extremely difficult to communicate with other members of our party on the ship.

Bar Harbor, Maine

Way too short. In order to facilitate the Norwegian cruise turnover in Boston, Norwegian scheduled this stop in order for passengers to clear US customs. And because the ship can’t pull up to a dock in Bar Harbor, shuttle boats were required to move passengers. Net result is you only get a few hours in Bar Harbor. Would have liked more time.

Necessary chaos getting everyone off the boat. Crazy but it worked and luggage was right there when we got off the boat

Thanks for your review. We found the Bar Harbor tender process long and tedious. But Bar Harbor it's self was cute.

Karl, it's a "nominal one time fee". I couldn't tell you if it's any good,.cause I don't like paying for nominal one time fees

So. NCL doesn’t have an onboard app to use for free to communicate with others on board? Might be time for them to do that.
