I see some guests took more than they can eat at Buffet. I suggest you put a sign 'please don't waste food''

I had a great time on the Gem and enjoyed the cruise. You are absolutely correct on buffet waste. I see it all the time walking through the seating area, with plates loaded with half eaten food. I never choose food items that I may not like. If something looks good, I will take a small portion, and if it is good, I can go back for more, rather than like most, pile it on their plate and then leave it, cause they didn't care for it. I've seen plenty of cruuse videos of people at the buffet who stand behind their wasting of food, cause they want to try the different selections and it's okay to waste it, because they make enough to compensate for the waste. Bottom line is, if you want to try new things, that's fine, but take small portions, and then go back for more if you want to.

WoW 5 Stars on the GEM and thanks for sharing your experience! I will have to watch a couple of YouTube cruise tours. While I never eat at the cruise buffet (I see it an option only) were your traveling solo; I am usually having way to much fun to pay attention to what other passengers are eating or not. I imagine there may be great people watching in gen-pop areas and in the buffet folks may be exploring and expanding their taste buds and trying different foods and or cuisine.
