Review summary

Terrible Embarkation. Great Ship Experience. In the future I would avoid the Greek Ports, the costs of souvenirs was double than Italy/Montenegro & Croatia. For a senior citizen, to much climbing steps and mountains not disclosed in the excursion details.

Terrible. NCL provided us with a pier address for embarkation. Upon arrival, no ship, no NCL representative or sign directed us to board a bust to another pier location. There was chaos and the fault lies with NCL.

TRIESTE (VENICE), ITALY

NCL has to disclose that departure is from Venice when in reality in costs hundreds of dollars to travel to Trieste to start the cruise. When I was in Venice I noticed there was a French luxury ship docketed there. I suppose NCL decided to use Trieste due to lower docking costs that has a financial impact on their passengers.

Venice have banned all large cruise ships due to damage to the lagoon. We travelled to Trieste by train, 2hrs, and only €15. Sorry you didn’t like some of the ports, we had a wonderful time.
