Review summary

This was a once in a lifetime cruise for my family. We could not have been happier with the ship or Norwegian. The excursions filled up fast so we were glad we booked in advance. The foliage was beyond amazing and there was so much history and culture to enjoy. Highly recommend this cruise.

Embarkation

NY terminal lives up to its reputation. Employees lack communication and direction skills. Elsewhere NY citizens were incredibly nice.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Every dining experience was wonderful. I love having Indian food daily on The buffet. Vanessa the "Washie Washie" girl was always so happy!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Love the free style activities. Guests can participate to their comfort level.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Final night finale was the best ever! All the staff was singing and dancing it was a riot!

Children's Programs

No kids with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff member was warm and eager to meet our needs.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
All common areas of the ship were clean and well maintained. (My balcony did have rust and visably chipped paint but it did not lessen the amazing views.)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Handicapped accessible Cabin was very comfortable and quiet. My 89 year old grandmother was able to use the walk in shower safely. Plenty of space to move around.

Ship tip

Spend lots of time in the great outdoors.

Ports of call

Who doesn't love NYC!

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Take time to visit the Maritime museum. It's a cheap taxi ride near the port and the admission is well worth it. The exhibits were incredible. An unplanned highlight to our day!

Saint John, New Brunswick

3 out of 5
Took the "Top Ten" sights in St Johns tour as our excursion. It was a lot of jumping on and off the bus but it covered so much territory is was well worth it. We saw the Bay of Fundee move in both directions.

Bar Harbor, Maine

Lobsta and Acadia national park. Can't wait to visit again!

Portland, Maine

Loved seeing Kennebunkport. And more Lobsta rolls!!

NY terminal leaves a lot to be desired. Have some patience saved up.. you will need it.
