Review summary

This is our third cruise with NCL, but our first 10 day cruise.  First let me tell you that we wouldn't have experienced this wonderful vacation had Valerie at Delta Cruises not emailed us about the opportunity.  Just to be sure it was the great deal we thought it to be, I went on line and priced it out booking directly through NCL.  Valerie and Delta Cruises were offering us bonuses NCL wasn't!  It truly was the best deal out there!  Thank you Valerie and Delta Cruises, this truly was a one in a life time vacation we won't soon forget!

First time we've stayed in a cabin with a balcony. We enjoyed having the drapes open and letting the sunlight in. Remember, if you working on a budget, spend less on the cabin and more on other upgrades. You are asked not to leave your balcony door open at any time to help with air conditioning. We did enjoy a few minutes sitting on the balcony, but your not in your room much.

Ship tip

Be sure to upgrade to the specialty restaurants. Le Bistro (French) is a must!

No need to book an excursion here. Walk off the ship and walk the old city on your own. It's beautiful!

Walk off the ship and turn left. Watch for a sign that says $25 for two beach chairs, umbrella, drinks and free wifi! What a deal!

It looks like you had a wonderful cruise.

The only bad thing about 10 day cruises, is it leaves you wanting to try a 15 day one.

Good to know about St Maarten. Definitely agree with your comments on San Juan. My wife and I wandered through the old city and ate at a great restaurant (think it was something like Café Puerto Rico or something like that - been a few years back). Got some beautiful art work from a shop called the Butterfly People.
