Review summary

AS USUAL, OUR EXPERIENCE ABOARD THE GEM WERE DELIGHTFUL.

THE STAFF AT THE POOL, BUFFET AND DIVERSE DINING ROOMS

WENT OUT OF THERE WAY TO PLEASE US.  WE DID HAVE A PROBLEM

WITH THE SCOOTER BECAUSE THE AISLE WAS TOO SMALL TO ACCOM-

MODATE IT.  IT WAS EASILY SOLVED BY THE ATTENTIVE CREW'

WE WILL NOT BOOK A CABIN ON THE EIGHTH DECK IN THE FUTURE.

WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED WHEN THE POLICY OF THE SHIP

CHANGED IN REGARD TO WHEEL CHAIR DISEMBARKMENT.  TOM WAS

REQUIRED TO EVACUATE THE WHEEL CHAIR AT THE LUGGAGE

PICK-UP.   THERE WAS NO "GROUND STAFF TO ASSIST" HIM THE LAST

LONG JOURNEY TO THE TAXI.  PLEASE RECONSIDER THIS NEW POLICY.

IT MARS THE ENJOYMENT WE EXPERIENCED ON THE GEM.

I think the cap in this case is not yelling more like easier to see lol that's my problem so I appreciate the "yelling"😉

Glad your overall experience as enjoyable!! - Is the wheelchair policy NCL's? Did they make Tom evacuate the wheelchair before the wheels touched the dock? - Anything to do with terminal operations (luggage, porters, ground personnel, Customs, etc) is not under NCL's control - why are you YELLING (caps) at people you are seeking compassion and sympathy from? ☺
