Review summary
This cruise was packed full of adventure. We flew into New York 3 nights early. We had never been to New York. We stayed at the M Social in Times Square. Our time in New York was great. We had wonderful food and fell in love with Central Park. We ate at Patsy’s and I think it was the best food! Their coffee and dessert were excellent also. The New England/Canada October 15-22 2023 was amazing. Everyone in our party had never been to any of the stops. Newport Rhode Island was nice but had to tender there. Portland Maine had great Sea food at DiMillo’s on the water. Make reservations when you get off the ship. We went at noon and made reservations for 3pm. The twin lobster was great as well as the clam chowder and the fried scallop sandwich. Bar harbor was also a tender stop so my husband opted out. My daughter,son-in-law did a trail by the water that curved back to town. It took about 20 minutes and was in front of Bar Harbor Hotel. Beautiful scenery. We did not care for St. John’s New Brunswick and boarded back on after 45 minutes. It has steep hills so keep that in mind when walking. My son-in-law made the most of the day and went to the waters edge and skipped rocks and then went to a coffee shop. Halifax was a fun day. Our group went to the maritime museum. The models of the ships were fascinating. The artifacts and stories from the Titanic were amazing. Also the pictures of the Halifax explosion were amazing. Afterward we took an Uber to the cemetery were over 100 people from the Titanic are buried. Then for lunch we went to The Henry Pub and not only will you get a wonderful lunch but also historical facts about the Halifax explosion and the Henry pub too. The Henry Pub is walking distance from Pier 21 where we were docked. We were all exhausted after this cruise which went to 5 Ports not counting NYC. There were always activities to do on board too. It was a vacation of a lifetime! It will be hard to top. Norwegian was organized and efficient.Embarkation

Ship tip
The ship is very large. Know the layout before going because it will be easy to miss areas.
