Review summary

It was a good week but very over crowded. The staff was very excellent would go to extremes to help or solve any problems. Excellent entertainment on board. All shore excursions and extras on Great Stirrup Cay were very expensive and not worth the price.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Good

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specially Restaurants were wonderful, but were extra $

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The ship was really crowded, so the pool area was very insufficient. One day at sea the kids pool was closed for a few hours, there are no other pools for the kids to swim in and it was hot.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedians, stage show and dueling piano shows were excellent. Loved The Choir of Man.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Kids said they were just ok.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great staff all around.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The pool area was too small for that many people. Not enough chairs, waiting for drinks at bars in the poor are was too long. Common area's were kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Size wasn't bad, beds were comfortable. Not sure if sheets were changed during the week as the room smell like body odor after a few days with a teenage boy in the room.

Ship tip

Be prepared for over crowded pool areas.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Arrived for trip only

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
Port was good, went to One World excursion which was good but too expensive.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
No excursion but taxied to the beach.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

3 out of 5
Nothing here unless you did an excursion but not enough time to do that unless you got off the ship real early

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Best day on cruise but very expensive if you wanted to do extra activities, zip line, SUP, kayaking.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great no problem

Thanks for the review, usually any pool areas on the ships are crazy crowded…which I normally avoid. What excursion is the One World? I checked out the excursions at the private island and found them to be expensive as well. Looking forward to cruising in March on the Escape.

Again, your going on a ship that holds upwards of people and complaining it’s crowded. What were you expecting?
