Total disappointment, customer service about our experience sucked
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Over all embarkation was smooth, only complaint is it was a free for all. You are assigned boarding numbers based on time you check in, but they did not enforce that at all..

Food and Dining
2 out of 5
I get that this isn't a 5 star restaurant, but the food at the buffet was plain, flavorless, and at times simply not the thing the label said. Cagney's & Moderno were excellent but of course you pay for those.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
The on-board activities were a joke. Most of them cost money to participate in. Here’s some free advice: stick to simple things like trivia, music bingo, etc. and don’t charge your guests extra for it. Games at O’Sheehan’s cost money to play. This cruise line really loves to insult you by charging $5 for a game of pool or $50 to paint after you’ve paid over $4,000 for your room, drink package, gratuities, etc. Only good entertainment was on Spice H2O
Entertainment

We had purchased a dinner show, however we were a group of 14 and told not a problem. Sorry but seating 12 together and 2 alone was a problem for me.
Spice H20
5 out of 5
Thank the powers that be this was on the ship, the bartender and bar servers were top notch! Best service on the ship, thank you so much to Russell, Vitus & Komang for making a crappy cruise a little better.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Stewardess Vere and Spice H2O Komang, Russell & Vitus were the only good services received. Main restaurants service was slow and did not bring our drinks til our order was read, so had to go to bar between the 2 main dining rooms to get a drink and soda, food which was a small cobb salad and sandwich took 45mins to get, again only good/amazing bar service was in Spice H2O

Cabin / Stateroom
1 out of 5
We were in Aft cabin 9924 handicap accessible, the room itself was ok, had to ask for a chair for the room, the balcony was HUGE, how ever while sitting watching the water my husband opened the door to come out and a rather large heavy metal bracket with 4 screws came falling down, only saving grace for me was it hit my ponytail and bounce off onto the deck and there was a loud noise coming from the sliding door middle window, which I complained many times by telling stewardess, calling guest services, going down to guest services, to the tech they finally sent up on day 4, housekeeping manager and to gentlemen dressed in white that the tech had to call down. No concern about the bracket that fell from above with screws and there solution to the 24-7 noise that got louder each day was to offer me an inside cabin lol. I complained to general manager on day 6 when I bumped into him. No compensation offered during or after cruise, when I filed complaint they responded as if they did every thing possible in a fast manner which was a lie and I told them so
This like everything else on my trip was a joke, after standing in line to disembark there was an additional delay of an hour then when scanned to get off they stopped me and I had to pay $179 cash or go all the way to guest services to pay. There was not bill left in or on my cabin number, I had a $300 OBC to cover misc things and they had my credit card on file. I was pissed
Have you never sailed NCL before? All the things you listed are normal charges for all of their ships. The ship went exactly to where it was suppose to go in the DR, if it had not then noone would have had the excursions they paid for, also if you had asked anyone there then you could have been told. It sounds like you wanted a luxury cruise and spending 3-4000 for a seven day cruise is average now for 2-4 people.
