This is a very nice little cruise. We had been to all the ports before, but we really just wanted to get in the sun and to relax.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very smooth and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was very good, especially the Bayamo seafood restaurant.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We actually didn’t do any of the above activities but they looked good. The pool was crowded and cold. The aft deck for adults only was lovely. It had two hot tubs and a grotto water feature.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We were able to get into all the shows except the dinner show. The comedians were very funny. We also enjoyed The Choir of Man. The weakest was the black light performance.
Children's Programs
No children were with us.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very comfortable and relatively roomy. We prefer the club balcony but it was not available. No towel animals! That was disappointing.
Ship tip
Everywhere is over air-conditioned and really cold. Take sweaters!
It isn’t really Puerto Plata, but a facility built for cruise ships. As such, it is very nice. It has big pools that are free to use and interesting shops.
