Review summary

Disembarkation was the worst experience. We stood in cold over one hour. They don't care about elders even when special request was made. Port person only holding a sign for Haven customers (they got cut the line, no waiting at all) and ignore you. Food in buffets court and main dinning room were mediocre. good values for this cruise. Caribbean weather, blue sky and water are beautiful.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
long line waiting outside of terminal, about 30 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
buffets breakfast and lunch almost identical everyday; average food quality. Food was cold all the time. Main Dinning, average food quality.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
too many people at the poolside's. can't find fitness center. small walking/jogging deck area.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
very little entertainment at the main dinning room. same singers in the main area. one comedian made fun of "big" people. I find it rude.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
at buffets, servers should not removed someone's plates before asking. they should not interrupted someone's conversations just because they wanted to take plates away. Otherwise, good service throughout the ship.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
the ship is only three years old, it already showing wear and tear on carpets and sofa. the gap between the bed and closet is a joke. its so narrow and I have a hard time to hang my clothes.

Ship tip

if you get a great discounts and on board credits for your cruise, it's still worth it.

Disembarkation

We were supposed to get off at 10am and there were one other group behind us. At 9:45am, they wanted everyone out of the ship. We were standing outside the terminal for overy one hour with cold wind blowing to our face. I asked if my 85 years old parents get a wheelchairs after prolong standing and also need bathrooms. The port person control the lines just ignored our request. No NCL rep to assist. No supervisor on site.

Talk about a bitch fest....don’t cruise next time. I have been on several cruises and the Escape out of NYC to Bermuda was one of the best. There are ling lines on all cruises unless you pay 3000-4000 a person for the haven
