It was average. Not one of my favorites. The ports of call were good except for Antigua. The food was ok. The overall experience was not a good one. We drove home from New York to Dr. to find out that husband had a broken toe and me Acute bronchitis. Overall the whole trip was not fun because he hobbled and I couldn’t breath.

Food and Dining

The buffet was not a great experience. I got a pancake at breakfast that I banged on the plate and it sounded like a rock. Wasn’t impressed with any of the food in general. Wasn’t impressed with margaritaville or the seafood restaurant. The main dining rooms were good.
Onboard Activities

Service and Staff

Our room steward was the best. Always accommodating. The waiters were the best. Orlando was excellent. Can’t say much about some of the personal. Not a good experience at all.
Ship Quality

The common areas were always clean. Not happy about the bathrooms on one of the floors was all out of order. Just let me say that that experience did not have a good outcome.
Cabin / Stateroom

Overall it was fine. But we upgraded from a balcony and paid around 300 dollars more . The only difference we saw was a bigger bathroom. Wasn’t impressed.
Ship tip
Don’t pay to upgrade from balcony to a suite. Thought it was a rip off.
Loved the port but cut excursion short because my husband couldn’t walk very well. Had a knife dropped on his toe the day prior to . Another guest dropped a knife on his toe in the Garden Cafe.
Did not like this port. Made me feel very uncomfortable. We took an excursion. The tour Guide was very good. But mostly saw a lot of poverty. Not much beauty on that island.
Did not take an excursion. Took a cab into town but not much there. Went back to the shopping area. Did a little shopping. Would like to go there again and do a little exploring.
St Lucia was beautiful. Took and excursion. Stopped at a beach where we met an islander who made my husband a walking stick. Which made a tremendous difference for walking. As he was still hobbling around .
Got some assistance to get off ship. But the terminal was a nightmare. We were herded like elephants down an escalator to the baggage terminal. We walked around this huge roped area to go right back where we started from. My husband hobbling and me out of breath. ( found out that I had ACUTE BRONCHITIS and my husband had a BROKEN TOE) Couldn’t get any assistance for help. They were very rude and not accommodating. When we finally got a porter to take our luggage and get us through customs and to our car. He was awesome . Gave him a grea tip.
The Escape was my favorite ship so far and Bermuda was great. Good and shows were fantastic. This time of year everyone is sick, I’m just getting over bronchitis myself, can’t fault the cruise
Gigcruiser maybe you shouldn't cruise. With all the staff I have came in contact with have been great. You treat people how you want to be treated.....
