Review summary

The ship overall was beautiful. Food was good, entertainment was great. The open dining times took a bit to get used to since I was used to having a set dining time. But actually after you knew how to time yourself better I actually liked it. I was just personally very disappointed with how unfriendly the staff was. We really enjoyed our cabin steward and he was the only one that received an additional tip from us. Considering we went to the same bars several times, I would have giving that bartender and additional tip if I felt as if they wanted us there.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The first night was a bit tough with everyone getting into the swing of things. But after that it was great. Food was really good, drinks were good but was not thrilled with Bartenders.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I didn't do to much, but seemed as if there was a variety of things to do.

Entertainment

The shows were EXCELLENT..!

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Other than our stateroom attendant, I was not impressed with how unfriendly the staff was. Its all you could do to get a good morning out of anyone. I feel that now that tips are automatically added to your final bill that staff does not try as hard as they used to in the past.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was located in the perfect location. Standard balcony room and was actually impressed on how spacious the bathroom and shower were.

Ship tip

Being that this was my first time with Norwegian I would be willing to sail with them again, but overall was not impressed with the service overall compared to Royal and Princess

Was not impressed.. 4 ships were in port that day and it was just too busy. Did the hop on, hop off tour from the ship. We were able to hop off, but never get back on. At our stop nobody was getting off the bus. After an hour wait and 4 buses later we finally go a cab.

I went on the Escape last March and I found the opposite ALL the crew that I encounter were super friendly and lots of attention . I was so impressed with their energy that I hope my next cruise in 14 days with the Bliss is the same!

I think rude passengers yell at customer service all the time if they can’t get what they want or think they deserve. They might have dealt with the world’s worst passenger right before you. Maybe your smile would of brightened their day. They have a demanding job on the ship and they are human. Could they be exhausted? Could they have just heard bad news from home? Just saying

I found that the staff at the customer service desk were rude. The rest of the staff that I encountered were helpful and friendly.

I could almost guarantee he would have definitely wanted you there if you tipped him little heavy on the first drink.
