Review summary

We had a lot of great experiences, although we had originally booked the cruise for the Western Carribean. Hurricane had other plans. Great food, great service and clean ship.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Perfect. 1st time on a cruise so I didn't know what to expect. Taxi pulled right up to the porter who removed our luggage then pointed us in the direction to check in. Luggage arrived to cabin very quickly. We did have what we would need the 1st day in our carry-on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was wonderful! The buffets were defiantly my favorite. Everything was clean and there were wonderful views! We went to a few restaurants that were included in the cost of the cruise, they were great too. Always made a run for coffee & desserts when it was late.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Although it rained most of the time (😭), we were able to spend a day on the sundeck and act like children in the water tubes. I suggest you try them no matter what your age (I'm in my 50's). I was disappointed that I was unable to get into the pool. It was very small and people seemed to "find a spot" and stand there for long periods of time.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Wonderful talent and a wide variety of shows.

Children's Programs

No children with us but we heard children onboard thrilled with their activities.

Service and Staff

Everyone was wonderful!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Not one complaint about anything! It was all perfect!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were a party of four. We had plenty of room. The bathroom and the balcony were perfect.

Ship tip

Don't take extras like beach towels or blankets. They're provided. Take one surge protector. Don't take a lot of excursions. The ship and the ports are wonderful and there's a lot to do. Eat and explore!

Ports of call

Snorkeling, horrible! Great shopping though!

Cozumel, Mexico

My favorite! We went to the Mayan ruins, a Tequila farm and the beach (It was a package deal). Disappointed in ruins, don't drink tequila, loved the beach but have very little time to enjoy.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was very smooth. We should've eaten breakfast before leaving and enjoyed the views while the crowds cleared.
