I honestly can't imagine a vacation experience where you get more for your vacation dollar, than on the Norwegian Escape. Just go! You won't regret it!
Embarkation

Fairly smooth, but nothing to get too excited about. Similar experience to checking in at the airport.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We had 3 meals included at specialty restaurants, which we're fantastic. Restaurants and buffets that we're included we're just as good though.
Onboard Activities

As many others noted, the pools are very crowded. The water slides and ropes course were great.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The amount of talent on this ship, in every genre, was unbelievable. I never expected this level of talent on a cruise ship.
Children's Programs

My 4 year old would've been thrilled if we let her stay in the Splash Academy the whole time. The staff bent over backwards to treat her well.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We received nothing but the highest level of service from the employees on this ship! I was really impressed by how all of the employees that we encountered seemed to genuinely care about my family having a great vacation.

Ship tip
I can't imagine spending a vacation on this ship and not loving it. I was on Royal Caribbean before, and was skeptical about trying a different line. We are thrilled that we tried Norwegian, and definitely plan to return ASAP! The best time to swim is after 5 pm. The pool areas are nearly empty then. I would highly recommend this cruise ship to anyone considering it!
We went to West Bay Beach, and paid $19 each to use Infinity Bay Resort. It was AMAZING! We heard others complaining that the didn't like Roatan, and they said that they didn't plan any excursions. Do your research because this island is a real gem!
Probably my least favorite Port that I've visited on a cruise ship. Port is nice, but the area outside the port is very dirty. Went to a highly-rated private all inclusive beach club, and we were less than impressed.
OMG, you need to take your meds! Hopefully anyone reading your review will consider that no one else seems to have had the experience that you did! I've been on other cruise lines, and prefer Norwegian. Had such a great time that we booked another. Shameful that you would try so hard to damage their reputation with you lies.
DON'T GO, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! I DID!!!!
The only way anyone can think the Escape is a nice cruise ship, is by not having the good fortune of experiencing a nice cruise ship.
You were not bothered by the casino in the center of the interior of the ship, wide open to all levels, allowing the smoking there to drift everywhere? You think people who are bothered by cigarette smoke will enjoy this? I don't and did not. The entire interior of the ship smells of cigarette smoke. Don't expect to go outside to fresh air as smoking is all over the pool deck also, and can not be escaped!
If your idea of a good time is screaming at your friends, who still can not hear you so you resort to using hand signals then you will enjoy this ship, as everywhere, let me repeat- EVERYWHERE on this ship is playing music to that level. From the pool area to the back deck to the interior atrium by customer service and the shore excursion desk ( really no fun yelling just to be heard trying to book a shore excursion), to the late night pub. If you want an after hours meal bring your earplugs!!!! Basically this cruise is a nonstop frat party. If that sounds good to you have fun. There are however a lot of us, Young adults included who do not see frat party as a good time. If you like being shoulder to shoulder at the pool watching over size men have a belly flop contest or the cruise director encouraging men to give women lap dances the most obscene wile kids stand around and watch- then this is your cruise! This is no joke that is how it was, be warned!!!
I agree, next time go to Maya Key in Roatan, animal rescue and preserve, awesome snorkeling, lunch, beautiful beach, 10 minute boat ride from ship, you can actually see it from the ship!
