Review summary

This was a wonderful cruise from start to finish even though it was shortened due to the hurricane. It is our second time on the Escape. We did a eastern Caribbean last October loved every minute of it as well. I can't say enough about how professionally NCL handled the whole situation. The safety of the passengers and crew was always first and foremost. We look forward to doing another western Caribbean at some point and finishing the itinerary.

We ate in all. Every meal was really good. Favorites are Manhattan Room, Food Republic, and Cagney's.

We always get a balcony. Our cabin was very nice.

Explore it!!!! Eat in all the restaurants, try all of the bars, get up to Margaretville H2O! Just enjoy everything this beautiful ship has to offer.

We went to Big French Key (booked through NCL) and it was just stunning. I highly recommend this excursion, Our tour guide gave us the history of his beautiful island to and from the beach. They had lunch for us and two drink tickets.

This is another beautiful beach. It's new and clean with so much to do. All within walking distance from the ship.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico Did not visit port

Unfortunatly our cruise was cut short due to hurricane Erma. We did not make it to this port.

Disembarkation

We opted to disembark when the ship returned to port. With the hurricane looming NCL and customs streamlined disembarkation for those of us that arranged transportation. They had coach busses lined up to take us to the airport. The whole process was extremely well handled for such a crazy situation.
